Basin County history books tell about how back in the colony age the locals used to build fake tombs with a secret room either to plot against the British or to hide treasures from them. Entire graveyards ended up being built on that premise, which is one of the motives the small "fall foliage" town of Red Grove is notorious for (apart from the fall foliage, as mentioned). There's where you find the Basin County State Memorial Cemetery, not only the biggest graveyard in the whole state but also among the biggest in the US. Notably that gave a good push to the local tourism, to the point of holding the biggest annual Halloween festival in the state for seven whole decades, attracting visitors from all other cities as well as a good bunch from other parts of North America.

Anyway... along these ages both American and Basiner authorities have been exploring and retrieving all relics they could from such fake tombs, but recently there has been some reports that one of these tombs still have plenty of rare, pricey relics for the taking. Good news for the greedy thieves around - specifically, the giant otter gal Zuleika, whom passing by a curator of an important museum in Brazil convinced the historian and archaeologist alpaca lady Lucinda that historical material points there are tons of Incan treasures buried there. Lucinda's bookworm dhole friend Anna Li got so curious and excited about it she didn't think twice to accept the invitation to join the little research trip. However, a gypsy coming out of nowhere warned them to stay away from such tomb, which upon violation may break a seal that impeaches natural forces of evil to cast a curse in our dimension and summon the most dangerous creatures for the planet's sake, including invaders from other planets.

Seeing how the three girls laughed at her warnings in debauchery, the gypsy decided to reach the tomb first in order to impeach them, but unfortunally they were faster. Who's laughing now? The gypsy is! Unwittingly, though. Just like the three girls.

So, here's my pic for this year's All Hallows' Eve celebrations. Funny enough, it was exactly 11:59 PM when I finished this piece, but at least until I post it it'll still be Halloween for plenty of you. ;p Besides, since the holiday felt in a saturday this year I have a feeling it'll be Halloween all weekend. :giggle: Basically I wanted four characters of mine tickle-tortured by four different kinds of creatures involving the typical eeriness the holiday evokes, and for the umpteenth time I couldn't resist adding a plot. But it couldn't be any character of mine, no! I went for four that would fit such plot and aren't "scheduled" to be tickled in any upcoming story or webcomic chapter.

Feast, my minions! Mwahahahahaha! :evillaugh: (By that I mean "I hope you all enjoy it!" ;) ) Ah, by the way, properly labeled "moderate mature content". Better safe than sorry. :XD:
