Karen had always been the happy-go-lucky, “party animal” girl. She’s an avid follower of that “live each day as if it’s your last one” kind of philosophy. Although that sounds nice, it brought its consequences: Karen wasn’t much of a fan of responsibilities. She had problems with studies and didn’t like to help with chores. It was all about fun and nothing else. At the age of 15, her parents were pretty concerned with how she was turning into a spoiled teen girl, so they began trying many reasonable alternatives to revert that situation. The one who worked (among uncountable tries) was trying to “convert” her passion for technology into something productive to her future. As expected, it wasn’t too easy to convince Karen, but even so she ended up taking computer science classes. The aftermath were even better than Mr. and Mrs. DeLaine expected: she acquired a passion for the subject. So much that she didn’t stopped, developing quite a hunger for technological knowledge. At the age of 19 she was already a notable tech expert across her home country, receiving plenty of job offers. But the best offer came from the Group of Enhanced Multinationals Security - simply known as GEMS -, where Karen takes all her knowledge to build useful gadgets, softwares or even counter cracker attacks - which earned her the nickname “MotGyver”. Even learning the importance of responsibility, Karen didn’t let her favorite philosophy go.

As pretty implicit at this stage of the game, Karen - known by the codename ‘Emerald’ at GEMS - is a very happy woman. She’s always radiating joy, and such good mood leads to an endless source of optimism (which sometimes even bother other people). She developed and keeps a sisterly love with her main co-workers Cassandra (‘Ruby’) and Becky (‘Diamond’). Needless to say, she loves spare times.

Well, this poll decided for "one of the GEMS agents", but I'll put them three at once. Ruby had already been features, now it's time for Emerald.

Just like Ruby, I can't remember if I based Emerald on some existing character (as I based many of my OCs).
