Nothing is really know about Ye-ye’s true roots. Word has it that she was raised by wild animals, even breastfed by them, according to the theories of the indigenous who found her. At the age of 5, Ye-ye was found somewhere deep in the Amazon jungle by hunters of the Parussuan tribe. They decided to take and raise her in their culture. Due to her savage nature she was given the name ‘Ye-ye’, which in Parussuan language means “very savage/wild” (ye= savage, wild). She raised happily and prosperously at that tribe, soonly adaptating to their daily living. Her savage nature made her the best hunter in the whole tribe: she was the only one who didn’t need any weapons to hunt, just her predator-like skills were enough to get whatever animal she aimed at, and also her climbing and digging skills, along with her unusual force, didn’t let her come back home with empty hands. The Parussuan tribe then never had any lack of meat, fruits, plants, wood or any other natural resources that they ever needed. She also received many civilization knowledge by a Brazilian indigenous supporting NGO. Years of peace and prosperity passed, until the day a group or clandestine American explorers, in a looting of natural resources and animals for smuggling, broke into the tribe, took it and captured the inhabitants, enslaving them and killing the ones who dared resisting to them. Ye-ye was between the ones booked to death, but all her likings gave the leader of the group a better idea: to auction her for a rooftop price to many “freak show” owners. So Ye-ye ended up in a carnival fairground, spending a whole year suffering the humiliation of being chained and playing a mindless roaring beast. She felt dead inside, sometimes even preferring being shot instead of having such disgraceful life. However, a bless was waiting for her. One day, that carnival caravan stopped at the Basin County, and her path crossed with a former member of the STAR group - Charles Broddard. The former ranger hero accidentally discovered about Ye-ye’s story, and with a hand of his friends, he fought the owners of that caravan and managed to set the beast girl free. Eternally grateful and without a place to go, Ye-ye decided to live in Hillport, encouraged to help her new friends to make justice in any ways. They know Ye-ye can be a valuable ally.

As expected, Ye-ye has no etiquette at all: she acts like a mix of wild animals, jumping here and there, climbing and hanging anywhere, picking, sniffing, biting and/or nibbling stuff, running in her four limbs, etc. Curiously enough, she speaks properly and politely, contrarily to what people might think (that typical total lack of grammar). Her savage side might be more developed, but she does have enough common sense not to commit any public infringement. Possibly by the mix of animal and human nature, Ye-ye can be the most loyal of friends.

This is a character from my last "crop" of OCs (about a year or a year and a half ago). I can't hide I always wanted some "Tarzan version" among my OCs!

I created her for a homemade comic story based on that last part of her biography there (now I have a story about that: Charles and the Beast Girl
-Hey peeps!! The County Fairgrounds is in town!!
Here we are back to Hillport, Basin County, northwestern America, in the year 2020. About lunch time, Jessica breaks into the kitchen by the garden door, radiating anxiety. All because she saw the posters all around the city announcing another Annual Basin County Fairgrounds edition.
The event is one of the main attractions of the whole county, with amusement park, expos, lots of typical food, music presentations and a boxing fight night. One of it's main features is its facility size: a good bunch bigger than carnivals' average. It happens every year, in a selected weekend of summer, in one of the seven cities that compose the Basin County, by a rotation system. This year was again Hillport who would receive the big event.
-Sure thing! I heard even the Blue Angels will show up this year! - Said Charles.
Few hours later and there they are, Kelly, Jessica and Charles, at the Fairgrounds. A few minutes in the crowd and they start finding t ). I just changed two things on her now: her species - she was originally a jaguar, I decided to change her into an ocelot to be something more Brazilian - and her clothings - she just used some tiger-pattern swimsuit. But yeah, she already were always barefeet.

Oh, and that indigenous tribe of her is totally fictional, mind you.

Although I said she's a "Tarzan version", there's another inspiration behind her: a certain videogame character, one who also happens to be a savage beast fighter straight from the Amazon.
